President Muhamadu Buhari has said that despite his administration’s excellent performance, no one had given him praises.
President Buhari addressed journalists on Tuesday in Owerri, Imo State, while commissioning some projects completed by the Imo State governor, Hope Uzodinma. While speaking to journalists, he made the claim that despite his administration performing very well, no one has given him praise.
“When i was elected President in 2015, Boko Haram have been controlling a significant number of local government areas in Borno and Adamawa States. But today, is no longer the case”.
In addition, Buhari also criticised his predecessors for not doing so much on the economy and infrastructure of the State with the large revenue earnings from the crude oil. While addressing Channels TV, Buhari blamed the Nigerian Elites for not thinking in the right way about the Nigerian economy.
President Buhari commended the Borno State government for the success achieved in the fight against insurgence, while praising his government for the remarkable achievements interms of time and resources. “I’m forced to say this, because those that suppose to say it are not talking”, said President Muhamadu Buhari.
